Kevin Bacon trotted into our backyard on a foggy October afternoon in 2019 during one of his soon to be famous walkabouts. No, we don’t mean the actor! Kevin Bacon is a “mini pig” who was apparently fostered at a residence down the road. He was stressed from his escape, thirsty, and surprisingly friendly. We thought he was a feral hog until his tail started wagging. It was amazing how well Bonnie Pomchi and Claudia instantly got along with this chubby, hungry, animal of unknown origin. Was it a big fat weird smelling dog? As far as the pups are concerned he might as well be. Kevin Bacon is now part of our family.
